Muttom Paya or Soup Recipe. Healthy soup for children, and elder people. Very Very good for bones.
1. 1 LB Mutton paya bones
2. 4 Green chillies
3. Turmeric Powder(1 Spoon)
4. Salt to Taste.
5. Red Chilly Powder(2 to 3 tea spoons)
6. Coriander Powder(2 tea spoons)
7. Garam Masala(2 to 3 tea spoons)
8. Tomatoes
9. Mint and Cilantro Leaves(For extra flavor - optional)
10. Ginger garlic paste(2 to 3 tea spoons)
11. Cinnamon, Cloves, Elachi
In a cooker, pour cooking oil. Add Green chillies, Onions and fry them for 5 minutes. Add Ginger Garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes. Now add coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt, red chilli powder, little turmeric and fry for a minute on medium flame. Now add paya bones, and tomato pieces. Add cinnamon, cloves and Elachi. Mix everything and add 4 glasses of water. You can also add mint and cilantro leaves now(I didn't add, as I cooked the soup for my 2 year old). Close the cooker lid and put the cooker on medium flame. Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
