This version of a Brandy Fix was published in Harry Johnson’s Bartender’s Manual and is a tasty example of the classic “fix” cocktail style which were popular in the 19th century.
INGREDIENTS
- 60mL Brandy
- Dash of Green Chartreuse
- 15mL Fresh Lime Juice
- 15mL Pineapple Syrup
- 7.5mL Sugar Syrup (1:1)
- Dash of Soda Water
HOW TO
- Add all the ingredients except the soda water to your cocktail shaker
- Shake & strain over fresh ice into an old fashioned
- Add a dash of soda
- Garnish with seasonal fruit or a twist of lemon
