1-2 fresh red chillies, finely chopped
1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
½ cup chopped button mushrooms
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
1 tablespoon cornstarch
½ cup grated processed cheese
Salt to taste
Oil for deep-frying
¼ cup mayonnaise
1-2 tablespoons green chutney


1. Take breadcrumbs in a bowl. Add mushrooms, onion, fresh red chillies, green chillies, chilli powder, coriander leaves and cornstarch and mix. Add processed cheese and mix well.
2. Add 2-3 tablespoons water and mix till well combined. Add salt and mix well.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop small portions of the prepared mixture and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
4. Take mayonnaise in a bowl. Add green chutney and mix well.
5. Serve hot with green chutney-mayo.
