Let's go with a classic one. Mulled wine it is! We all know it, we all love it, so here are the instructions for a simple and easy mulled wine recipe. Warm your guests at the Christmas dinner, or just have some on a cold night while relaxing. There's always a reason for mulled wine!

1. 2 bottles of red wine
2. 1 big orange
3. 1 lemon
4. 1 lime (optional)
5. 1 ½ cup brown sugar
6. 6 cloves
7. 1 big cinnamon stick or 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
8. ½ tablespoon nutmeg
9. 3 bay leaves
10. 10 black pepper seeds
11. ½ teaspoon anise seeds
12. 1 teaspoon vanilla

-Peel the strips of the orange, lime and lemon with a peeler, only the coloured part, not the white one.
-Squeeze the orange and keep the juice
-In a medium-size pot, put the brown sugar and then add the strips from the orange, lemon, lime, the orange juice, the anise seeds, the cloves, the cinnamon stick, the nutmeg, the bay leaves and the black pepper seeds.
-Add as much wine as necessary to cover the sugar and put the pot in medium fire.
-Stir until the sugar has melted and then leave the syrup to boil.
-Boil for 4-5 minutes and then take it off the fire.
-Add the vanilla and stir.
-Add the rest of the wine and put it on low fire. Leave it for 5-6 minutes so that it’s warm but not boiling hot.
-Pour in big cups and enjoy!
