Ingredients:
- -Maida (All-purpose flour) 2 Cups
- -Cocoa powder ¾ Cup
- -Baking soda 1 & ½ tsp
- -Baking powder 1 & ½ tsp
- -Namak (Salt) 1 pinch
- -Monday (Eggs) 2 (room temperature)
- -Cheeni (Sugar) powdered 1 & ¾ Cups
- -Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- -Cooking oil ½ Cup
- -Doodh (Milk) hot 1 Cup
- -Pani (Water) hot ½ Cup
- -Instant coffee ½ Tsp
Coffee Cream Cheese Frosting:
- -Instant coffee 1 & ½ tsp
- -Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- -Makhan (Butter) unsalted 200 gms (room temperature)
- -Icing sugar 1 & ½ Cups
- -Cream cheese ½ Cup
Directions:
- -In bowl,place sifter,add all-purpose flour,cocoa powder,baking soda,baking powder,salt and sift together,mix well & set aside.
- -In the bowl, add eggs and beat well.
- -Add sugar and beat until well combined.
- -Add vanilla essence, cooking oil and beat again.
- -In a small jug, add milk, water, instant coffee and mix well.
- -During the beating, gradually add dry ingredients alternately with milk+coffee mixture and beating until smooth after each addition.
- -Take a cupcake to try and place linings, pour prepared batter (makes 18 cupcakes).
- -Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 20 minutes.
- Coffee Cream Cheese Frosting:
- -In a small bowl, add instant coffee, vanilla essence, mix well & set aside.
- -In a bowl, add butter and beat until fluffy.
- -Gradually add icing sugar and beat until well combined.
- -Now add dissolve coffee and beat again.
- -Add cream cheese, beat until well combined & refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- -Put the cupcakes on a cooling rack to cool, when cooled,
- pipe the frosting over the cupcakes and decorate with coffee or chocolate chips.
