Hearty Minestrone Soup

4 tsp. olive oil
1 cup chopped onions
3/4 tsp. dried basil
3/4 tsp. dried oregano
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups cubed butternut squash
1 cup diced zucchini
3/4 cup chopped carrots
2 cups water
32 oz. low sodium chicken broth
1/2 cup tomato paste
1/2 cup uncooked pasta noodles
3 cups chopped swiss chard
1 cup rinsed canned great northern beans
1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
3 tbsp. grated asiago cheese for topping

Heat oil in a 10" or 12" Dutch oven, over med-high heat.
Add onions, basil, oregano and garlic; saute 5 minutes or until onions are tender.
Add squash, zucchini and carrots; saute 5 minutes.
Stir in water, broth and tomato paste; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes or until vegatables are crisp-tender.
stir in pasta noodles; cook 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add Swiss chard; cook 3 minutes.
Add beans; cook 2 minutes.
Stir in pepper.
Serve with cheese.
