How to Make Bread Crumbs

Bread Crumbs – this ingredient immediately reminds you of rolls, cutlets and other yummy treats. Indeed, many a scrumptious snack is coated with bread crumbs before deep-frying to get a special crumbly-crispy texture. Rather than buy bread crumbs from outside, you can easily make it at home within two minutes and stock it in the refrigerator for up to a month.

Preparation Time: 2 minutes.
Cooking Time: Nil.
Makes 1 cup.
Baking Temperature: 200°C (400°F).
Baking Time: 20 minutes.

10 bread slices

1. Place all the bread slices on a baking tray and bake it in a pre-heated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes. Allow it to cool completely.
2. Once cooled break them into pieces and blend them in a mixer to a fine coarse powder.
Use as required or store it in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
