Pepperoni Pizza Casserole! Your kids will love this recipe. This is one very easy recipe that taste like pizza. For those times when you're craving pizza but do not want to make the dough. I also take a taste of Nikka Yoichi Japanese whisky.
To boiling water add
- 2 Tablespoons of Salt
- 16oz box of pasta
Cook pasta 1 minute less than package directions
While the pasta is cooking cook the veggies and heat up the sauce
To a hot pan add:
- 1 Tablespoon oil
- 1/4 cup onion
- 1/4 cup bell pepper
- 1/4 cup mushrooms
- 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
Cook until the veggies just get soft then add:
- 1 28 oz can tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
- salt to taste (I used 1/4 teaspoon)
- pepper to taste (I used 1/4 teaspoon)
Bring to a simmer and continue until the pasta is cooked
Drain the pasta and stir in the sauce
Add the pasta to a casserole dish and top with:
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 28 slices of pepperoni
